Grant User Permissions

Select permissions will need to be granted to SFDC Users that will either be (1) accessing PrintSF and placing orders, or - even if they won't be accessing PrintSF to place orders - who will (2) benefit from seeing reporting data in the Collateral Order and Mailer History objects, or (3) who will need to have BOTH of these capabilities.

As most Salesforce Admins will know, permissions can be granted to SFDC Users in two ways via:

User Profiles - permissions can be granted at the User Profile level and are thereby granted to all Users having that User Profile; OR

Permission Sets - permissions can be granted to individual SFDC Users (irrespective of their User Profile) by creating a Permission Set then assigning that Permissions Set to a list of individual Users.  Note that 2 out of the box Permission Sets are included in the install of "PrintSF 1-to-1 User" and "PrintSF Full Site User".

Both approaches are covered in what follows.  You may use one or both methods to grant permissions to your Users, but first we recommend you review this Overview of User Types & Permissions
